Was wondering if someone could help me fairly quick here as I want to make a purchase a.s.a.p.
I have a 2000 Sunfire GT and am currently looking at picking up some winter tires for the brutal winters here in Canada.
Does anyone know if a 215-55-16 on a 16 inch rim (obviously lol) 7 inches wide with a offset of +35mm will work?
Or will it stick out or rub something? Car's suspension is stock
Any help would be greatly appricated!
Thanks
Of course, you didn't mention the bolt pattern. Ensure it's 5x100 and ensure the hub fits. People getting steelies from the Celica have had hub fitment issues. Same is likely true for Subaru wheels.
And if you're getting steelies for the winter, you should get 14's and thinner tires.
I have 15" 195/65R15 Blizzack WS-50's
Down and back up I-81 from Radford VA in the winter snow, sleet etc... no problems.
Snow tires rock!

Thanks for the reply guys!
I e-mailed the guy who is selling them and he said he had them on his 97 Cavi z-24 (didn't tell me that at first)
So they should be good.
I was also pondering going back to a 14inch steel wheel and running the stock size 195-70-14
Unless you guys can suggest something else? Either way my 205-55-16 Toyo Proxes FZ4's arn't going to cut it LOL!
For the winter, I suggest getting winter tires on the smallest wheels you can fit.
The smaller wheels will save you money and the winter tires may save your ass.

for the sube, the centerbore needs enlarged about 1 mm to fit on the j body / neon hub which is (i think) 57.1 mm. and the subaru is 56.* mm. but i believe the offset is like +50 which may present more issues.
CAR GODS MADE THE 1.6 SOHC TO MAKE US 2.2 OHV GUYS FEEL BETTER.
