Yes but you should lower it first. Get the right size tires also.

You need some quality dampers (shocks/struts) to use with the Sportlines. The stock ones can't handle the height or spring rate.
ok yeah i knew about shocks/struts just didnt know another name for them was dampers. i really dont ahve the money right now. can i just replace the sturts when they go bad, with some inexpensive ones from a car store around here? i might not lower it just yet that can be another option even tho it will sit high up. i really wanted to get some other things, like exhaust, and HIDs, and a CF OEM Hood.
Do it right once. You will blow the stock struts and any oem replacement with the sportlines. You will need koni's or d spec's.

i have the same wheels u are looking into getting.
search ebay for them. 500 shipped with free lugnuts (throw those lugnuts out!)
i might as well post some more pics of um.. hehe
i LOVE the wheels, but u do get what u pay for. dont expect these to be name brand quality wheels.. they have a few subtle flaws. and they weigh alot. if that matters to u.
HERE IS A LINK TO THE EBAY AUCTION I GOT MINE FROM, THEY ARE GREAT FOR DOING BUSINESS WITH!
havnt seen them on any J yet except mine.... im only helping cuz u have a sunfire and not a cavy..

yes you can lower it on stock struts. they will blow but theres no set milage that it will blow at. do it right the first time and then you dont have to worry about it again
hey man, if you want to save some money, i have koni reds, sportlines, and 2 new strut mounts in my dorm boxed up ready to ship. they only have 4000 miles on them. my car got hailed out and i took off all my parts. email me at black_fire1996@hotmail.com if your interested and put something about sunfire suspension. later man.
i will let you guys know i plan on getting the wheels one way or anotehr in the next few weeks.
I've had my sportlines on stock struts for about a year now and theyre fine. But i'll be replacing them soon. Just letting you know.
hmmmm yeah a year would be good time i think i will put jsut wheels on and see how bad it looks and then decide form there lol
I have sportlines on my cav with kyb gr-2 in front and stocks in back and they ride fine. my 17's do rub a lil though. in hard turns and high speed dips.
