ok, i need a set of tires for my 99 Z24 (17") i've mostly found summer tires (not recomended for ice or snow). just wondering if anyone uses these type of tires on light snow. I'm taking them to europe, theres lots of turns on those mountain roads so i need a good summer tire. but in the winter there isn't a lot of snow, should they still be ok?
these are some of the tires i was looking to get, also concidering wanli's

get a high performance all season tire.
Plus those rating suck compared to some of the better tires tirerack offers, check out the BFG GForce T/A KDW.
Forget about snow. They're not even safe on nice dry roads on a sunny day if it's freezing cold. Summer rubber isn't mean for cold temperatures. It hardens up and loses it's grip.
Get all-seasons if you're going to drive in the winter and won't get winter tires. They're still not all that good in the snow, but at least they're fine in the cold.
Yeah. Bad idea. I tried that on my Saab. First snow of the season and I hadn't swapped my tires yet. I barely got up the hill by my house. I actually had to back down it and take a hard run at it to get in my driveway.
if you are hard up on bridgestones get the potenza g009's. they are an all season performance tire that is better than most in the snow. you should be able to get by if you dont drive like an idiot.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
