anybody ever do this? i haven't found any pics of any cars with this done in a search. what i'm talking about is just having the flat face of the wheels painted.
if you get a good pic i can photoshop it for it
i can't, don't have my camera at the moment. i just got done today painting the wheels like this. and i gotta say when i first saw it i hated it and thought immediately that i should have just painted the whole wheel bronze and then sanded the lip down to factory aluminum.
but now, after looking at it more and more the more i see it the more i like it. the color's a really good looking bronze but unless it's in direct sunlight it almost looks brown. it probly won't show up worth a damn in pics but in person they look gorgeous.
but, i'll get pics up in the next couple days.
Nah, not my cup of tea. But if you like them, keep rockin' them!

ya, i realize alot of people aren't going to like them and that's ok, cuz i'm the only person that's gotta drive it
hmm intersting idea...maybe if the white part was black it would look better...sorry, not a fan of bright colors
Where did u get the paint for your wheels??? And what brand/ color name???? Just curious......

thank you! i'm very happy with the way they came out.
actually reminds me i gotta get some bronze or gold wheel paint soon, wasnt gonna re paint my wheels this soon, but, dad painted the truck with 2 of my rims in the garage and they didnt get covered up
Eww....
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
i personally would wanna see what it would looke like if the white was black instead
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...

Nope the bronze is definately staying. I may redo it so that the entire spoke is painted and the outer part of the rim stays aluminum (not white lol) but as I said originally I knew they wouldn't photograph well and I also knew alot of people probly wouldn't like them which is totally alright with me

I think it would look better if atleast the whole "star" was painted the bronze
Alright alright twist my arm
Maybe if you painted the circle too, like the "time attack trim" but the inside too....im terrible at describing what im trying to see
interesting idea actually, not a fan but props for the imagination, not sure about this but without actually seeing it, i might go with the whole star black and the lip the same colour so it looks like an aluminum rim, or maybe, (ok this is kinda hard to explain bare with me), do what i just said but down each spoke keep a thin little sliver of the silver and as it gets to the center hub it gets a little bigger, or go all back lip incuded and have the slivers of silver
like i said in my head it looks good, but if maybe someone can do an image manip of it. we'll see lol
I think it would look better with the 00-02 z24 rims since they have the sharper curves. with the rounded curves on the 95-99 it just doesn't look good IMO.
