Yes this should work.
If you dont want to do this to yours, either
A-Go to a junkyard and get some to have an extra set
B- Buy a set on ebay
Yeah you can do all 3 in like 10min's or less.
It is easy to do. Even easier if you use a hair drier to heat up the rubber coating then peel it away.
^^^^ what they said, peel rubber off of yours, don't buy them, huge waste of money when you can do it to the ones you already have

i didn't use a hairdryer.. i turned the heat on in the car and stuck them in the vents. ready in couple minutes.

here is a pic of mine also you dont need to heat them it just makes it a little easier but you can just pull the rubber off , it makes no difference (trust me ive done mine that way and about 4 of my friends the same way

I know I'll be one of the few that says don't do it. I myself think it makes them look cheap.
Man i remember when this first became popular. I thought the clear knobs were one of the coolest things ever. Wow, just wow.
I was really taking this of my shifter and the car is dirty but you can see the knobs lol
do you have to take the dash apart to do this...or can you just heat them up while everything is together, and then pull the rubber off?
Under Construction
so you just pull the knobs off you dont have to unscrew them or anything
