I'm replacing all lights in my interior with Led's....ya da ya da ya da
Does anyone know what kind of bulb is behind the dimmer wheel/switch on the left driver side on a 2001 sunfire. And does anyone know how to get to it, like do i have to remove my whole dash or can i just pop it open or what...
Thanks fellow J-Body folks.
My cavi has a socket thingy for it, but there was no way of even getting the light to shine through............. i thought it was a F*** up by GM
on Sunfire, i have no idea, but on my cavi, take the dash top piece off, and then take the trim that goes around the radio and the cluster. then pop the whole switch thing from the back
wait for it... wait for it... NOW GO!! ---> '02 LS Sport <---

The little panel with the switch on it pops right out. Get your head under there with a flashlight and you'll see.
Problem with popping it out from the front with a screwdriver is that it's easy to scratch up the edges. Mine's painted so I avoid that.
yeah you can get it out without scratching it. I used a razor blade
to pry it up enough to get the flathead screwdriver under it. Just
be careful with it. Im not sure what kind of bulb it uses but it looks
hard to change.
Im having the same problem, the dimmer switch hook up didn't work for me at all, Ive got an 04 cav. Any one got and Idea what color the wire is going to the dimmer, that you have to wire into to get the damn things to work. I also have the cobalts, they look freakin awsome.
Im a complete idiot disregard the last post from me. Thanks.
