How many bolts need to be removed to get the center console out of the car. Also, where are they located.

Stock air box? Takes like 2 minutes to remove.

Center console on an 02 is easy. 4 bolts. Two under the arm rest at the bottom of the compartment. One under a little oval cap in the tray at the front. Pop the cap off with a small flat screwdriver. The last one is under the panel with the power window switches in it. That panel just pops off. If you have manual windows, it's a little tray.

Then just lift the whole thing up and off. If you've got a manual, you can just unsnap the boot and lift it up and off. Not sure with an auto how to disconnect the gear indicator light and all or how that part unhooks.
