I was on ebay and there was a 200mph speedometer cluster for like $180. There was a link at the bottom of the auction that went to a website where they sold them. Has anyone ever seen this or have the website? Also these were for a 2000 and up sunfire. I know the clusters are different then the 95-99 clusters in appearance but are the plugs in the back the same?
no, the cluster will not work unless you replace your computer in your car. if you are willing to do that, then go right ahead and do it. Why the hell would you want to have that cluster anyway, our cars are only rated to 108mph.
I am what I am and it is what it is.
I am the 2nd most untrusted person in the world next to a lawyer, welcome to our dealership, may I help you?
unless you made the mistake of reading a kilometers cluster from canada they cant exist. black cat customs makes a cluster that goes up to 140mph. i dont think there is enough room to put the rest of the mph to equal 200. the gauge clusters in canada have the kilometer on the out side and mph inside(vise versa our gauges) that might be what you saw. i have a toyota cav cluster that JUST has kilometers( i cant use it cuz it had a digital odometer and i have an analog) on it and i do believe is goes to 200 but its in kilometer. hope that helps

Yeah, he was probably looking at one of our 220 km/h gauges.
ok even a 140 moh gauge.... wont the entire gauge be wrong?
not if you redo the computer

thats totally uncalled for, not everone knows how BCC works. and for those who dont know... Black Cat Customs just reprograms the cluster to adjust for the 140mph instead of 110mph(i think its 110
) no reprogramming of the cars computer is necessary.

Actually, I don't think they even do that. I believe they use a Canadian cluster, which is calibrated differently.
If I'm not mistaken, you can just plug a Canadian cluster into a US car and it will work properly with its own calibration. So they just take a Canadian cluster, which is calibrated up to 220 km/h, and make an American MPH face for it.
And really... for someone with the ricerific "z22" in their name, you really shouldn't be shooting other people down for not knowing stuff!
How about teaching a thing or two rather than just slamming people?
ok first off why do you need a 200 mph speedo what do you have done that your car could hit 200? I would assume its km/h but im not anyone to judge pics would help

Must have been a canadian cluster, or maybe a cluster for a Vauxhaul (sp) Cavalier?
this was not a canadian cluster. 200 mph cluster you could get it in carbon fiber or white with blue lights. I had this in my favorites because I was going to buy it when I got the $ but then I got a virus which mess my computer up. I had to reprogram the hole computer which it deleted the favorites. I know my car will not do 200mph bur it would just be bad ass to have a 220mph gauge cluster. Juicez99cav said I would have to replace my computer to make the the cluster work anyway which im not doing. If anyone has seen this or knows the website please let me know. I would install it if I found it.
black cat customs is the only 1 i know of , and they are doing 140 mph
