Gauge wiring

ok, I just bought the triple pillar pod and I'm going to be buying the guages soon, I'm assuming I'm gong to have a switched to power as well as power for the lights, does anyone know if connecting the 3 gauges to the headlight/dimmer switch will draw too much current for the circut? as well as a switched to power?

one more question, this is for the air/fuel ratio gauge, it says i need to find which wire is the signal, I have the wiring diagram in front of me theres a purple wire that is for high signal and a tan wire that is said to be low signal. before I hook it up and risk frying something, I figured I'd post about it first.
