I just got my Otto-r racing seats ... and talking to people that have installed them , they have said that they cannot use the stock seatbelts. I Was looking into harness' and i came across these ( but they have been out of stock forever )

Click ...

Know of any other decently priced harness's? I dont need anything super amazing or fancy ... after all its just a 15 second cavalier .

Im just curious, why would you want to buy the cheapest seatbelt you could get? Wouldnt it be worth it to pay a little extra and get a name brand one thats sfi approved?

Make sure harnesses are legal for DD use in your car. if you do you them make sure you mount them right.

Yes if you are gonna use after market seat belts DO NOT mount the sholder straps to the floor. If you get in an accident with them mounted that way you can compress your spine and can be paralyzed for life. You eather need to make a Harness bar that goes accross at atleast shoulder height or higher or mount them to a roll cage.

Regardless of how you mount them, you should have a roll cage in your car if you intend to use a racing harness.

well i agree with the roll cage but if you have them mounted to the back of your seats they most likely will be pretty much worthless in an accident.

I have both but use the normal seatbelts 90% of the time. Being strapped down completely is a pain for lane changes.
