Ive seen people have the wiring for the ecotec but i have a 2001 z24 and just put in a new Bosch o2 sensor because mine went bad...the wire colors are blue and white and i don't know which one to tap into for my a/f gauge
You must be color blind!
The color of the wires are tan and purple. Tap in the the purple (looks blue to you) and you should be set. Don't forget to hook up power and ground for the gauge.
Its the purple one. It works
better if you splice in.....?before or after?..... the connector for the O2 sensor to the wiring harness. I believe it is after the connector on the wire-harness side. I will check when I get home later tonight.
Also gauge will not move till car warms up and exits closed loop mode.
FYI
Best of luck.

ok i found the wire and tapped in and everything is hooked up but all the gauge does is just go up and down the bars....is that suposed to happen...i don't even know....its kinda wierd
Yep, that's pretty much it. It's mostly just a light show.
The only time you'll get anything worth paying attention to out of it is when there's a problem. If you're at WOT, it should be fully in the rich area. When you're engine braking and completely off the throttle, it should be fully lean. Pretty much any other time it just continually adjusts back and forth.
