My othercar is Caddie and theirs nothing more comfortable then the feeling your driving around on a couch. any one ever see a front bench seat on a cavi?

would take a nice amount of work since to get and actual bench seat in the seat would have to seat farther back then normal or you'd have to move the shifter assembly further foward (which can't really go that much further foward).

it wouldn't be that hard to do, but as much as I like bench seats for making out and road head.. just wouldn't be worth it

do they even make bench seats that would be small enough to fi in the j's most bench seats came in big cars and the j isnt that big a car. you'd problaby have to saw a foot off one side to fit one in.

i was just thinking about this for my alero...i also happen to love bench seats , there much more comfertable then the F*in buckets ...i wish there was an easy way to move my shifter to the colum ...it wouldnt be to hard from there

I was thinking of having the bench with a "U" shaped cut out where the shifter is it would only come into the seat about 3 inches and mounting it to the original brackets. This way if i wanted to i could slide the entire bench foward and back. I could get an extra rear seat from cav add some support to it but its about the right size.

just put a ton of work into doing what they did with the newer civc sir shifters that are actually coming out of the front console

my brother said that they had leather bench seats in the caddilac cimmaron and it was a J.....so there are some small enough, im sure its doable. but putting one in a 3rd gen J would be kinda tricky
