B&M Shift Knob Question?

I did a search and read the post titled B&M SHORT SHIFTER QUESTION and I still can't find what I need. Will This work on the B&M for a 2004? I really want to find a way to get this to work!!

You can make it fit if you want to.

If you want to keep the reverse lockout, MOMO has some ball-shaped knobs that I think are nicer that will fit.

I have just a normal B&M white shifterball on mine.. If i'm not mistaken, the B&M threads are metric.. 12mmx1.75 springs to mind, but dont quote me..the ball i have had inserts, so it had a bunch of different thread sizes.. i took the largest one, and used a tap to change the threads to metric.. I also used a nut to be able to set the height just a little bit.. Reverse lock out is gone,and I for one think it shifts much nicer without the clunkly lock out on it.. but thats all a matter of personal preference..
