anyone know how to get the tilt steering lever off of a 04 sunfire....i need to to know so i can remove my blown airbag....any ideas??

If it's same as my 02, it just unscrews, mine was rather tight the first time I removed it, I believe I used a cloth and vise grips to loosen it. Hope this helps!
They unscrew... but I'm pretty sure some of them are bonded in. I've never actually been able to remove one. Chewed up the plastic trying to get one off and then gave up.
Yes, I believe their is some Loc-tite or equivalent on them
never heard of such a thing everyone ive taken off and twisted off real easy
GM does use a thread-locking agent on the tilt lever...
The cloth/vice grip method is also how I got mine off as well.
