93 Cav wheel in a 97 Cav?

Will it fit? I'm not sure if anyone has even tried. A friend of mine is parting out his 93 Z and his interior is immaculate. My steering wheel is getting all ratty with age and his is like new. Would it fit? After removing the airbag, of course.

Simple enough answer. Thanks, man. I assume there's no adaptor or anything like that I'll need?

Nope. Stirctly plug and play. You WILL have to look at you're airbag light though. I used electrical tape under the cluster face to cover the bulb. If you're careful, you don't even need to cut the wires going from the clockspring, just follow the wires down to theplug under the dash, unplug and pull them through the trim piece, but you may not even need to remove it in the first place. Show pics when complete.

I'm getting parts together at the moment. Once Paintball season ends I'll start back on the car. Gotta love winter projects! I've got an interesting list of parts I'm putting together: Sunfire console, 2nd Gen Cavalier steering wheel, JDM Integra Type R front seats, JDM Integra Type R shift knob and boot, reupholstered rear seat and front door inserts to match... Goin for a completely different look than what I normally see around my neck of the woods.

Been forever, sort of bringing this one back from the dead, but I said I'd post up some pics. I kept putting off all my little projects and I decided I needed to get something done. So here you go. I ended up using a Lumina Euro wheel instead jsut because I liked the center section a bit better. That and it was in even better shape than the Z24 wheel, which was amazing considering I found it at a junk yard. I posted a pic of the console jsut for giggles, but I won't have the seats in for a while.
