left turn signal went out...Please Help!

Can someone help me out with this. My left turn signal and brake light does not work. The left turn signal blinks two times as fast as the right one. All the bulbs and the left socket work fine. The fuse is fine and I replaced the flasher relay but it still dosn't work. I checked the voltage on the turn signal harness and all the wires have current except for the two wires that run to the left tail light which are yellow and brown. How can I fix this? Do I need a new wiring harness to run all the way back to the tail lights?

When the light is blinking twice as fast, it means that the bulb is about to blow. All you should need to do is change the bulb.

Also, check your blinker fluid, it may be below the recommended level.

switch the bulb socket with one from your back up lights and see if that works then you know its just the socket.

I know for sure it's not the bulb. I tried four brand new ones. I switched the sockets and they both only work on the right side, so I know it's not the socket either. I bought a blinker switch from a junkyard but it still does the same thing. I'm really stumped on this one. I think I'm going to try to run new wires from the harness all the way back to the taillight.

when it blinks twice as fast it usually means that on that side either the front or the rear bulb is burnt out, and if your breaklight is out on that side too then its probably the rear
