I have the synthetic leather Yonaka Ronin seats and I just use a Leather protectant from "Black "Magic" it works great i got it at Wal-Mart. Makes the seats nice and soft and shiney but doesn't leave them greasy.
Note that "synthetic leather" is just a fancy name for vinyl. You should be using different products on that than you would on leather, or at least check the bottle to ensure it's fine for both.
Leather needs to be conditioned while vinyl doesn't.
I realize that. And the synthetic leather on these seats looks nothing like vinyl and unless I tell people no one realizes its fake. I have also found that the leather care stuff seems to "mosturize" the seats and make them softer and deeper looking, much like leather.
Thanks.
Everyone else has it right about the synthetic leather. In my case, I've got real leather Yonaka Seats, and I had great results with Meguires "rich leather wipes". They really brought out the sheen of the leather, which was quite honestly really dull when I first got them. I tried their cleaner/conditioner paste first, and it did clean the leather a bit but didn't really improve the appearance. You can see my thread about the seats
here.
