Vibe=Toyota. Won't work. Cobalt may work, I've been trying to find the MOMO hub adapter part number for the Cobalt to see if it's the same as the one for the Cavy/Sunfire. If you're interested, I've got a nice Cavalier steering wheel with the airbag I'll let go pretty cheap. Send me a P.M. on here if you're interested.

Vibe = Matrix. Matrix = Toyota. Vibe = Toyota.

How do I get what? GM took the Matrix design for themselves from Toyota as part of one of their "agreements" they've been working out for years. Kind of like how Toyota took the Cavalier as their own. If you look at a Matrix there are even Toyota parts on some of them.

they are right, i own a toyota matrix and it is the same car as the pontiac vibe, they are on the same platform and some parts are interchangeable just like the jbodys and all the engines are toyotas not gms they are the 1zzfe and the gt vibe is 2zzfe as well as the matrix xrs.

First off, if I'm not mistaken, I believe that the Matrix/Vibe interior was actually a GM design, while the platform is obviously the Corolla platform.

That doesn't mean you can use the wheel though. It's a very different design than ours. If you got it to fit, it would probably be way too far from the pedals.

You haven't filled out your registry so I have no idea whether you've got a GT or not. If not, then go to a wrecker and see if you can find a newer (01 or 02) GT wheel. You'll like the leather wrapped one way more than the crappy base model one.

exactly. the matrix has a GM radio, yet the vibe has a toyota engine in it. like the cavalier and sunfire most of the parts are interchangeable.

Except for the fact that CHevy and Pontiac are both GM brands. GM and Toyota are 2 seperate companies with a working agreement.

I guess the best way to find out would be to test it. The new HHR's have the same three spoke design as the Solstice, the G6, and the '07 Cobalts. If anyone has tried these, post up your findings as this could be useful information. Has anyone on here seen the Tme Attack Cobalt? That has an aftermarket steering wheel in it. I wonder what hub adapter they used?
