I was driving a Trial Blazer, and I loved how the steering wheel looked pretty cool.
I need to go to the junkyard soon so I can get a plastic cover for the seat belt lock, when I bought it it did not have one on the driver side.
And I'm thinking if the air bag would still work, I'd pick up a steering wheel too.
(also a z24 bumper, heh)
But I was just wondering if I would be able to still have an air bag?
I've never seen any other OEM steering with an airbag swapped into a j-body.
That's not to say it isn't possible. I've just never seen it done. One important factor would be the size and power of the airbag. You'd want to look that up to ensure you don't get one that's meant for a truck and going to blow your head off.
Well this is for a Trail Blazer, which is a mid sized SUV, but the airbag section of the wheel is a lot smaller than a cavalier's.
Well oh well, I don't want to have to go through much trouble for a steering wheel.
Thanks
