I tried searching all over the place for these but I can't find any info on them. I plan on getting some red recaro racing seats and am thinking about getting the stock red rear seats found in some cavaliers/sunfires too. Can anyone help me out with these questions?
-What model/year did these come in?
-What is the part number for the rear seat?
-If you have any of these red seats, post your pics!!
-Any other info, links, etc... let me know
If you really want them to look good, you're probably best off finding a local interior repair shop and having them reupholstered.
You won't likely find a set in a junkyard that you'll actually want to put in your car. These are all well over 10 years old now.
I'm 100% sure you can't get them new from GM anymore. I plan on doing the same thing (red recaros up front, red oem rear). The stock red rears are pretty hard to find. You are probably better off getting your stock seats reupholstered.
the red and graphite speckle ones? or is this somethign totally dif?
^totally different. All red cloth.
hrm.. anyone got a pic of this? dammit something i didn't know about

Thanks guys, the main reason I wanted them is to match and to have something kind of hard to find in most cavaliers. If anyone has pics or the part number, I would still like to see them...(^Kevin your pic didnt work)
Sad thing is, if you find the seats, much like the Toyota fenders, the average person really wont notice any difference.
Yeah I know, it kind of sucks. But hey I like them, I see them more than other people anyway and I know that they are somethin special (kinda lol).
pretty sure i have them...the red speckled with graphite if thats what you're talking about
Take a pic if you can please...

I'm pretty sure you're talking about the interior from most of the older Zs (not rare at all). These are the seats the original poster is looking for: (hope ACav2Envy doesn't mind me borrowing pics of his car)
I was told at a dealership that I would not be able to get these new from GM, and that there probably isn't even a part number for it anymore. Best bet is to have your stock seats recovered.
i saw those in pick n pull once but the seats looked old and the red door covers were cracked. i think it would be dificult to find a good interior in a junk yard. best bet would be to get youre seat re uppolsterd
i say keep looking......there are sets of them out there and the back seats will be in better condition than the front buckets, so it works out well for you. good luck finding a set! theyll look great
I've seen those seat many times, but they're always orange.
Did they actually come in Cavs at all? I thought they were Sunfire only, but could be wrong. The ones shown above aren't in a car with the full red interior because there isn't a fabric panel next to them in the plastic, so maybe they were yanked from a Sunfire? I found one in a junkyard & the rear panels were the only thing that wasn't bright orange, so I've got them now. The sun does nasty stuff to those seats. From what I remember reading in other threads, the interior was called Code Red.
I really like the look of them (as long as they are red and in good condition). I sort of thought they were only in certain sunfires too, but idk for sure. O well, if I ever find some decent ones I will definitely pick them up. As long as the car they were in had some tint, they shouldn't be that faded/orange. If I get some, I wouldn't have to worry about them fading because my tint keeps most sunlight out anyways.

Aww crap. It was a pic from a car that was listed FOR SALE. Maybe the car sold & they removed the listing?
eh....

Correct, and as far as I know the red interiors were only made from 95-97 or maybe just 95 and 96 models. I have only seen the red interior in Sunfires.
