here are some updated pics of the caddy tails. i think they look as mean as fawk at night. i absolutely love em!!! the second pic is where i got my sig from...
and a HUGE thanks to frank (the tank) and crazycavgirl (crystal and jacob) for helping get the rear end looking good. they rock!
next are some pics of my sliding rag top. i got it from street beat customs a few months ago. frank (the tank) and i put it in ourselves. i was very surprised how easily it went in. i'll get some better pics in the daytime later.
please note that the car was wet from me wetsanding on it all day. thats also why there its so dirty. there is also no weather stripping on the door and half the interior is out lol
and finally tonight, i have a picture of my super cool hood emblem. its a 2.4z emblem from the toyota cavalier. unfortunately it doesnt fill up the side of the scoop as much as i had hoped.....but i still like it.

JMO - but, i think the 2.4 z emblem would look a lot better if it was placed closer to the windshield.

tails are alright, ive never really been into the shaved inner, or shaved tails look...but atleast you took it a step further and did something unique with it. As for the ragtop thats pretty neat, i would be worried about security, but im sure the car doesnt get driven much? All in all its a neat car, props on all the custom work!!

j/k. so how are you going to mount them? horizontal in a roll pan like mine, or vertical where the stock lights are?
zeetwankyfo: im sure i could get the whole car in one pic....but the idea is NOT to lol. the car has more orange peel than minute maid, so its still being wetsanded. plus the water pump is still dead, so i cant drive it anywhere for better pictures.
slammin: the rag top is manual. the only electric one SBC offered was bigger than my roof and about twice as expensive as my ragtop. i paid around $450-ish? if you are thinking of getting one, go all out and get the headliner AND BILLET HANDLE. the "handle" they send you is the biggest POS ever! it looks more like a wingnut than an actual handle.
nwcavi: yeah this car has been retired from daily driving, so security shouldnt be that big of a deal. plus, its not any less secure than, say, a convertible.
blackfire: no it doesnt hurt it. the A and C pillars are still on the roof, uncut. we only took out the middle section of the B pillar to fit the ragtop in.

Plus it has a metal frame that bolts to the top of the car, so that will reinforce it.
Yea i figured that it wasnt daily driven anymore. But still lots and lots of props on all the custom work, cant wait to see the end product all finished.
You should do something with the trunk panel. There's just not enough going on there with the shaved tails. Other than that, I love it.
jason: i like the way it looks.....very clean IMO. the only addition i can think of to the rear would be a prostock wing. other than that, it will remain wingless.

i actually would like the prostock wing on that.. it fixes the EMPTY look w/ the shavededness (lol is that a word?)
