Deconstruction of the GTP has begun:( 56k no

Well, I cant even GIVE this thing away... Chris was supposed to take this car, but he backed out. So today we started pulling it apart, and I mean REALLY pulling it apart. Don't ask why and what is happening with it, because Im not telling! A big thanx go out to Tom, Luis and my neighbour Jacob for all your help, and a small thank you to Luke and his fiance
Ofcourse I took pics, so here we go
The mess that was the engine bay...

Me removing the throttle cable and other small @!#$.

Removing the only factory mount that is still used.

Engine/tranny/suspension/steering and cradle being dropped.

AAAAAAAAnd, everything removed from car.

Im getting all too used to this sight...

Engine and tranny being removed from cradle.

Is there enough clearance in the rear now?

Well after everything was removed, we had to get the car back into the garage, this was our truly ghetto rigged moving device!

It worked though, the car is now back in the garage looking even more naked, safe and sound.

Well that was our productive day...

I seriously dont get it. I let everyone know the car is for sale, for a really cheap price aswell, I even said someone could HAVE it. Nobody bites, now its being taken apart and everyone wants it. Sorry people, my decision has been made with what is happening with this car. Im not letting people know just yet, it will REALLY surprise people when I decide to let people know whats going on.

If it wasn't for space where I live you know I would have come got it, Darren. *laughs* I just don't have the space right now.

As for pulling the engine, it's about time you did it. I told you that was the next important step, tear out the engine and take care of things under there.

Now do the next step I told you - I KNOW it's $$$$ but get it done now while things are apart.

Had I managed to tow the car to my place this was the first thing I was going to do... mind you I was going to finish the engine on a stand, and take a care of a lot of other details.

Good luck bro, sorry I couldn't be there.
