I just recall having to justify owning that thing, while people who would never do custom paint/shave locks called me out about it.

Mid-life crisis! I've had more than one. Wheels are original now, but I do miss simple 5 spokes.....so we'll see. Maybe revamping the whole thing one last time to find happiness. I mean I have to get it right eventually.

Yeah I hear ya there, I'd been in less of a hole had I kept the '96 and swapped the motor/tranny....and I'd probably have a helluva lot more done to it.

I showed "the other half" the pics I had found last night, and I almost got beat to death. Hell everyone misses that car, I kick myself in the ass every day for not swapping a 5 speed in it. 5 years older than the car I had now, and the body was in better shape.
