please expalin more what u meant when saying shaving handles ona stock car and being confused of the order peopel do things??? you gotta start soemhwere why not shavinbg the exterior, besides the car ain't all that stock anymore... after all it is dropped and now SHAVED

also. it looks like you bought the plates(one plate has a label on it), did u buy the plates precut? or did u just buy a peice piece and cut em yourself and just didnt take off the label yet? Its gonna be hot shaven.. are you planning on shaving the gas door and relocating the cap? Are the door handle plates curved at all? Or u just going to use body filler to fill it and get the shape? Its hard to tell in the pic if there formed.. Looks good tho!
I just went to Home Depot and got a piece of sheet metal and my d00d cut them out. He is welding them all in and then he uses a kitty hair filler and then bondo to help shape it. They are just about all done, I will post finshed pics up tomorrow. Thanks for all the compliments everyone!!

I forgot my iPhoto resizes the pics to where they are not taking up the whole page. Shaving it is all pretty easy...Just gotta know how to weld and sand...On the cavi's we are pretty lucky because we dont have a weird angled body or have a body line going through it. On my boyfriends PT it took almost an entire day to shave one handle.
It wouldn't be a problem for us to shave them, I just don't wanna fool with not being able to open the doors in the winter. So one day, I'm gonna do it, then the next day, I change my mind. LOL
