Looks good, just wish I could see it better.
Thanks for the sig, Blakout.
sweet, how did u cut it for the switch for the neons?
why didn't you just remove it completely?
Deputy D-styl13: I used a dremel with a cut-off wheel
Jokr: not quite sure what you meant?
That might be a pain the ass after awhile... Looks great though.
why didn't you just remove the door lock buttons completely?
If you're mounting the lock switch in the center console, why do you need two switches?! You could of mounted only one that's easily accessible by both passenger and driver to avoid symmetry problems like you have now (the two switches aren't lined up at all on the sides and it looks kinda dumb).
A very nice idea, but I think you executed it poorly. No offense.

do you ever have anything nice to say?
and did you ever notice that the consoles are not symmetrical?
Looks amazing, IMO--love the black tweed!

Starting from the front of the console, the driver's side switch appears to be about 6 inches inward. The passenger side switch appears to be about 4 inches. I think in any case regardless of how symmetrical the console is on either side, you could at least line up the switches to be the same distance from the two occupants in the vehicle. The passenger literally has to reach to their toes to unlock the doors!
themarin8r, suck it. I say plenty of nice things when they're called for. For example, the tweed looks pretty cool, even though I'm not a fan of it. Also, I ended the comment with a "no offense" to show my critique of the project and also gave praise to the idea and concept. Nothing more. Nothing less. I let lhnetman know what I thought of the project just like he asked from the JBO community. None of my comments were made out of spite and/or destructive criticism.

I need photoshop...cause its time for a new sig
they look close to me its just that there is that cig outlit that makes it look closer. I think its just the illusion but i dont know.....looks good man
Thanx Charles
Yeah they look perfectly equal to me, lol. I do agree with the fact that its kinda poorly placed, seeing as youd have to reach to about where ur shins are to unlock the doors. But since you dont use them much it doesnt matter anyways. I think the single switch idea could be a good idea too.

they are perfectly equal, shut your mouth.
Nice work- looks great.
looks good.

looks good, love the black tweed (plan on using some in my Interior) but i would have just deleated the doorlock switchs.
I use my key flob to lock/unlock.
I totally dig the tweed. Very nice!
As for the switches... the location just doesn't make much sense to me. I mean, the convenience of having the switch on the door is that if only one door is unlocked, you can open it and quickly unlock the other. With the switch where it is, it's not much easier to reach in and hit the switch than it is to reach across to unlock the other door.
Sure, it doesn't really matter if you normally use the key fob... but again, if that's the case, then why put the switches in at all?
The installation looks nice and clean though. NIce work.
This is why I love the "org". People get to speak their minds. It's all good in my book.
Now for the switches, they are within 1/2in of each other( pic might not show it). I didnt
want to totally delete the just incase the fob dies or got lost. As for only doing one, never even crossed my mind. But hey, I love how it came out. Thanks for the honest feedback!

Thanks for seeing my comments as constructive criticism instead of an insult like the other tards in this thread.
