Heres a pic of the shaved trunk lid my buddy is doing for my g/f. Got it in primer last night and it'll wet sanded, painted ,and cleared today. She has her z24 wing shes gonna pu on it with a clear cover from izntrbl and were gonna tap it to her reverse lights s itll pass inspection. FREEBIE trunk too. Here's a pic of the dash I glassed for a fellow j-body member with the shaved air bag cover. And finally a pic of my buddies custom celica bumper on his cavy. Its plastic welded and fiberglassed as of right now. It still needs some work but it looks nice as hell in the day time. It wont crack either. He already bottomed it out once by accident and nothing happened.

As long as I have the time to do it I dont mind doing it. Ohh yea....the money makes it good too. The only part that sucks about it all is sanding. We got the trunk lid all based, cleared, and put on my g/f car tonight. It looks BAD ASS. Im probably gonan get my buddy to shave mine here soon also.

Well the trunk is finished all except for some little runs in the clear coat at the bottom of the trunk lid which im getting out today and the dash is completely finished. Heres a pic of the trunk.

What all did you do to prep the dash?? And did you cover the whole dash in glass then sand and primer?? How well does it hold up??

that's probably the first cav i've ever seen with a shaved trunk lid that I actually like. most of them look unfinished, like they're missing something, but that one looks great





so you're gonna leave the high mount light in the rear window and then use the one on the spoiler for back-up lights? pretty ingenious

i did the same thing to my dash but i also glassed in all the vents so there are no seams just the holes for the air. do you have more pics of the bumper? it looks really good also.
