Interesting fabric choice...
I'd personally try primer first, then paint on tacky.

the fabric was on clearance from wal-mart
what do you mean by primer first the paint on tacky? i dont get what your talking about?
Definitly paint the rims black or get black ones, everything being black and then the bright white rims? ehhh, Definitely go ALL black and it'll be even better, PS i love the 666 on the plate
damn chris...we def gotta glass ur rear man...i'll get up there within the next month w/ my car 'n we'll get to work on our interiors too~
black cav looks nice man...TOLD YOU WASH UR RIMS...i can't even tell if their white or silver!!
I meant, if you prime it, primer only needs to be tacky (typically) for about an hour, two to three hours max, before you apply the base coat of paint. If you wait longer, I find it loses that "tacky" feeling that's much needed to get a single blend in a can (i.e. not one type for the sheet metal, then another for the fiberglass, all while trying to closely match) to hold on.
Of course, read your instructions with the can of primer/paint, but most primers I've toyed with list an hour of curing time as the time it is "tacky" and ready to accept the base coat of paint.
