My 2 cavs staring eachother down after argueing about which one would go with me to work tommarow
and the its alive part 2.....
the interior is ins ONE piece AND the stereo is done
all thast left is tuning the system, I'm gonna have it done profesionally hopefully tommarow, at the latest next weekend... till then volume stays really low.
heres the basic layout of everything just laying there.
to get an idea of what I did here is a paint drawing of what I had to make...
the big outline is the floor/bottom piece, it goes all the way from the the back (near the latch) up and sits under part of the sub box. the next middle piece wood piled up and attached to one an other and screwed into the wood floor, it keep the bpx form being able to move, the box is wedged in between that piece and the rear seat area, it can't go anywhere. and then right in front of that piece is the amps, all the wiring is run through the floor so there is nothign at all visable without taking stuff apart, even if you try to find wiring you can't
for being something I rigged up quickly it came out preaty good. I wrapped it in wool felt kinda stuff, not a perfect match but its not bad at all.
everythign all installed
Its All Alpine... touch screen DVD player, Type R 6.5" components in the doors, 6X9's in the rear and subs in the trunk, everythign is amped through V12 series amps.
and I forgot to take pic of the interior all put together but I'm sure everyonbe knows what I stock interior look like LOL

Looks nice, i'm sorry if this has been asked but I dont frequent the JBO much anymore, where did your Xtreme Tuner front bumper go??
oh forgot to mention there is a capacitor hidden in the spare tire well also
as for the front.. the car is going back to near stock, its gonna be the daily driver... only thing left exterior wise still for sale is the hood
damn it also forgot to mention there is an optima yellow top in there now as well

Man that is one hell of a daily driver. Still has the show car feel to it.

hahah yeah the silver one looks angry all the time LOL
the tweeters come with all kinds of different mounting options, I have the swivels in there so you can aim them where ever you want
as for the blue bumper... I have a feeling it will stay blue for a while. Its not preaty but it works. I'm not gonna leave it blue for ever but I'm not in a rush to paint it, I just spent a ton of money on the tool box i got so funds are very very low right now LOL

good to see pics of the both cars functional. now i just need to get mine running right and the stereo back in the caprice. Oh and ryan the new box looks amazing i like it alot man, i dont think i will ever need a box that big not that i wouldnt mind lol
