well i started doing mods on my car finally this year, my plan is to put it away this winter and finish it for next summer (and i really want a winter beater ha ha) heres some pics... sorry the cars dirty as hell..

I know the rims aren't much, but they should look better after i lower it sometime this week...


i put a black hood on it, new head lights and clear corners...



put a pillar pod and a new steering wheel in it..


om not sure about these tail lights... i like how they look at night but in the day they look kinda rice...


my plans for the winter are, either z24 bumpers, or 01 dumpers, id like to go with the 01 bumpers but is there anyway to get my headlights to work with those bumpers? planning on getting new rims as well, thinking 17s... and ive got a 2.4 twin cam sitting in the basement waiting to be swapped in this winter...
suggestions welcome!

oh and has anyone ever heard of the sweet talker muffler? my buddy had one on his mx3 but he took it off today and hes going to sell it, it sounded amazing on the mx3, just wondering if anyone has ever had one on there cav? and how much do they go for new?

i think you have a decent start, but just need pointed in the right direction.

you say you think the tails are rice during the day, well you'd be right in that assumption, BUT you also stated you like them at night. IMO, get some VHT nightshades, darken the crap out of them so u can get the best of both worlds, you still get to see them at night the way u like, but the rice look will be forever gone. and make sure you do the 3rd brake light lense to match.

interior, i like. you've got a VERY good start here. to get your cd player to fit completely flush, take everything off the front of the dash (bezel, install kit, etc) then take a dremel tool or some sort of hogging out tool lol and cut out all the plastic crap that is in the back of the radio tray. be careful to not cut the metal brace mount tho, its right directly in the center of it... its held on by a single pop-rivet, so just cut out around it and yull be fine. then when your done, the cd player will acctually sit on top of whats left u didnt cut out and it will sit nice n level and flush inside the dash... no more sticking out crap.

and clean the SH T outta that carpet man!!! also wax your mirrors, it will make them look AMAZING

the headlights really look good on that color, but i think (if you can even find them yet) you should get the black corners to match them. badges on the back need to go. the rims wouldnt be so bad, but id ditch the white lettering, you can probly just flip the tires around on the rims and it will be a complete black wall. then just polish the hell outta the rims!

yea, i was thinking smoking the tail lights would make them look a hell of alot better... and if im gonna do that i might as well do the corners while im at it.
haha the carpet for sure needs a good cleaning.. a real good cleaning lol, i live kinda live in the sticks so my shoes are dirty quite a bit, hard to keep clean but i imagine i should be able to get them back to normal, if not ill have to look for new carpet because mines pretty much fcked in the drivers side, im hoping shampooing it will bring it around.. i also wonna paint some stuff on my dash, not to much but just a little, the 2 little vents on the side and the vent in on the top in the middle, im thinking silver to go with the steering wheel and guages...
i personally like the black hood, i mean its not half as good as a carbon fiber hood but i dont think it looks half bad??
the rims im still not sure about tho, there only 15s... they look good from a far.. but there far from good looking, but they are in good shape so i should be able to sell them for a half decent price and ive got a line up on rims like yours i think (z yaaaa), hard to tell from your sig but they look the same... i think black rims and a chrome lip would look good on my car.. and remember ive got z24 bumpers for the car so i dont plan on leaving the ugly ass base model bumpers on it...
but anyway.. with that said i dont think the cav will look all to bad...

Dont even think about getting rims before you lower it son! It will look stupid as all get out! But I like wher you are going with it. Love the steering wheel. Z Bumpers will look great on it as well.

already got my lowering springs.. just dont have the time to put them in yet!

dont black out the tails if your like how they look at night i suggest a nice coat of red over them use stain glass paint or some other transparent paint and tint them red it would look pretty good.

The hood go back to stock.

stock headlights or even clear ones would be cool but the projectors are just bad plus i bet you noticed the light output go down the drain.

Make sure you dont lower it on stock struts either you will be kicking yourself until the day you get struts.

you seem to have some potential and I wish you the best with it.

I've got to agree with Brad (ZYAAAAAAA) You've got a good start but I feel like perhaps you need more direction? I like some of the stuff you've done, some of the other stuff like the black hood and clear tails I could totally do without.

How are you going to be lowering it?
