I never liked that hood, but it does look nice.

I think if you are going to paint it you should paint the whole thing, otherwise leave the top of the scoop undone if anything. Love the hood I really want one.

Well that would be why it looks unpainted, i think it would have turned out better all the same finish and take out the billet scoop thingy.

It used to be done like that all the time, done from the factory on some old Mopars, only without the insert.

props to you sir for doin ya own thang! not my style but im cool with it if thats the way you wanted it..it dont look bad man just a lil different..

Maybe if you would flatblack the grill it might make it look better, but have fun defending that for a while. Maybe it it was faded in instead of lined up in the front it might make it flow a bit better. GL with everything. Nice IC up front.

i like it.

I think it was a great decision on your part. The flat black stands out, gives the hood more "dimension", and it's different, which is refreshing to see. Just as Jack said too, the best part about it is that you like it. Hell, I usually find that the more that other people don't like something, the more and more I like it. It's kinda of an official affirmation that you've got something that's different from everyone else. Nice work.
