Found a box wrapped in a bag on my step! +10 points for FedEx on the bag, very thoughful!
All of the box contents. Nasty, nasty contents.
One of my pups enjoyed the fork - whose fork is it?
Shot with MiniTransAm & my beatermobile
Then we showed the shirt what's around Lancaster. My neck of the woods Lancaster, not the amish BS that everyone thinks is all we have here.
Welcome to the Garden Spot!
Thanks to Evans17 for finding this welcome sign for me, I asked a lot of people where to find one!
City map - notice no fields on there! MiniTransAm is even sporting his Lancaster Barnstormers hat!
We stopped by our baseball stadium where the Barnstormers play, it was guys night lol
Fire truck at the stadium out of New Holland
Tourist trap "Amish House." Funny thing is when I wanted to get the shot, real amish people pulled up in their buggy & were taking their grand old time getting out.
I waited until they cleared, kinda felt like a jerk if I actually got them in the picture.
Zoom out a bit and you see how developed the area has become...where the amish were going to shop.
Then we visited Duke the Dragon at our local kiddie amusement park, Dutch Wonderland
Wonderland castle
And finally, where we signed the shirt!
lotsa pics, kickass! and i like your sig on there
you might as well toss that ripped up WVJs sticker. not sure who ripped it, but i meant to throw it away at the bash....but the box got separated from the shirt so i couldnt.
also, is there any way i could get you to count the sigs on there? i also meant to do that but didnt before i shipped it out
where the hell my JGM decal go and has anyone figured out my mystery harness yet?

Lancaster, PA. It's the dutch country, home of the amish! I've been there many many times, I used to go to the outlets out there all the time.
Proud member of Jbody of Kentucky ... Click on sig to go!
wow, who the hell put a freakn corner/VCM and like a shift knob... other misc. stuff in the back?

We actually contemplated taking the PCM or whatever just to save us some money on shipping! Cheap asses!!
Rich Grayo Jr. wrote:holy crap thats alotta crap... still cool though. who's last on the list so far?
Alex Richards at #48. I was #16, so it's got a little ways to go!

Kinda wondered what was up with the sticker! But with a cig butt, candy wrappers & other stuff way more junky in there, it didn't stand out really. I think I threw away the candy wrappers & the cig butt though, yuck.
I SATCHMOE YOU!!!! wrote:where the hell my JGM decal go and has anyone figured out my mystery harness yet?
JGM wasn't in there that I remember, just A+ Performance & WVJs. No clue on the harness.

This particular time, indeed it was Pennsylvania. It seems almost every state has a Lancaster though!
evans17 wrote:You found the sign!!!

Indeed we did! There's actually one farther back right where the road splits going into Lancaster from Willow Street, right in the middle, a tall metal type one. This one was hard enough to get to, there's almost zero shoulder and we had to walk a little ways from where there was a spot to park.

Sure is! When was the last you were here? We actually stopped out at the Fossil outlet the night we got the Dutch Wonderland & Amish House pics. A few good deals out our way

Lotsa random stuff for sure! Although a lot of the car parts were broken/blackened. *shrug*
It has a long way to go too!

Heavy crap in there cost me nearly $12 to ship! Maybe I shoulda kept something to lighten the load!
I added a keychain & put a case on the cd. Poor cd (although @!#$ty music) was rattling around in there loose with everything else *sigh* boys.
Haha.
Glad to see this thing still whoring it up!
damn who the hell took the stickers lol

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

How long ago did you leave this area? And how do you like Kissimmee compared to here? Kissimmee is actually one of the places that gets thrown in the convo a lot as in "we should pick up and move there" I've got some friends down there, they love it 100%, but apparently the job market blows & jobs pay half as much as they do here - according to them. True? They had some family move down from Allentown a few months ago & they are unable to find employment thus far, although they're thinking there's not enough effort put into it. We were there last April and really, really loved it and could see ourselves there permanently besides the summer heat!

DW? The land of mini vans & crying! I'm sorry
Did you milk the cow?
No actual pics of amish people even though I had the perfect opportunity, I know... The thought crossed my mind as the aprox. 5 women climbed out of the buggy under the Amish House sign, but it just didn't feel right!

Thanks for your reply! From what I hear, ELCO is pretty rural, so it's a little different living there than it is here in Lancaster. ELCO by the way just turned down gambling money to reduce real estate taxes, only school district in the state & it's making a lot of news lately. Seems they thought the morals of ELCO people were against gambling, although a majority of the people filled out paperwork to get relief haha! Anyway, I for sure agree that it seems there is more to do in the Kissimmee & surrounding area than there is here - but I wasn't sure if that was because I don't live there. I'm sure it seems there's a lot to do here too, tourists love it, but we find it a little dull sometimes. I'd love to have a place like Old Town, my buddy takes his truck there every week, they get to know the regulars and hang out, it's just what they do... there's nothing like that here. We spent a night there with them and loved it! Free to park, fun to get a float at A&W, shopped for beads, good times! As for jobs, I looked on monster.com and found a few jobs that I'm way qualified for (I'm a graphic designer) that said they pay better than I make now, also found a ton of houses on realtor.com that cost less than the house I have now! Seems like win/win really, but it would be easier to move if I didn't think I'd miss my little nephew growing up
One of those things we're going to keep talking about I guess. We plan to visit again sometime in the spring if we can manage the cash, Boscovs travel has a killer deal to fly non-stop to Orlando straight from Lancaster
i see the skwirl's cracked #3 piston in there
glad to see this thing is still getting around!
