The end of a legend. Doomie photoshoot.

Doomie is being laid to rest. Today is the last day of its existence.

The car is to far gone to bring back at this point the further I got into rebuilding the worse it became.

For those that don't know Doomie was the 1st 4 cylinder J to run 13's and the 2nd J ever to run 13's. It was built back in the day by Scruf dog, and I picked it up a little while back to try and salvage it.

A few pics from the day I picked it up. Pics make it look a hell of alot better then it really was.

Here's how it sit waiting for the last trip it will ever make.

Just a few shots of the many many MANY rusted out areas. The floor rusted through, underbody looks like swiss cheese. Engine still wants to run tho, cranks and all if I tossed the msd back in I could drive it to its final resting place.

It will live on in some form tho the z kit and several miscellaneous parts will be finding their way to the vert.

Most 13 second cars don't take a trip to the junkyard because they died of old age.

^ what more history do you need? 2nd J ever to run 13's. 1st one that was a four cylinder. 2.2 OHV with homebuilt motor, nitrous, and a THREE SPEED AUTOMATIC!

Some people need to remember this car when they want to talk smack about the OHV...
