Ok, now I see the plate. No interference with the hood hitting the tps connector? I know the one s/c I've installed that was an issue and there wasn't a 1/4" spacer in there. More curiosity than anything at this point.

nice , but i think the best cooling effect would be with the spray before the s/c atleast for cooling
though i think the spray in that plate should enter from the top to the bottom , so it flows with the air instead of against it

Where the nozzle is located is the 2nd best place to get the cooling benefits of meth, the first being direct injection. Reason being it's after the air has been compressed, we all know that when air is compressed the temperature of it increases. By spraying pre blower you would cool the blower itself, but the drop in intake charge temp isn't as significant as what should be seen with the nozzle located after the blower. Another benefit to having behind the blower like this is the water/meth droplets will not be hitting the blades of the supercharger, which could cause damage at the velocity it's traveling at.

skunk hit it right on the head, not an exellent idea to spray pre-blower, although some don't have a choice like the 2.4 guys (maybe able to drill and tap the s/c but it would be a challenge) Also a good chance of wearing out the charger. As for spraying upwards rather than down, i had thought about that before i put it on, but in my hast i forgot to play with it putting it on lol, but it would have been a PITA to turn that plate upside down than get the gasket between it and the charger, the holes came pre-drilled so its not like a had much choice. In the end tho i'm sure 14psi of boost is no match for my 150psi meth pump lol
as for hood clearance i was @!#$tin bricks the hole time, didn't have a clue if it would work with the J, but gave it a try anyways, 1st clearance issue i noticed was the fuel rail, but it ended up just barely clearing. And as for clearing the hood, i checked it when i 1st put the plate on and it cleared, i thought i may have problems with the nippe for where the cobalt tmap goes, but it seemed ok, Now on the other hand i haven't popped the hood and look for marks now that i've went and beat the @!#$ outta it lol. Will later today.
The plate is 1/2 thick, 2 ports in it, from zzp..
