Alexis: Dustin, you're ghey, lol. I am better. I have tits, and tits rule all.
it was a cavalier.
look closely, they area around the headlight was cut out more,
and the area of the fender well was just cut out so they could
see more of the front end/crumple zone or whatever u wanna call it,
and what the suspension was doing in the accident.
Yeah, You can also see the bumper turn signals and the door handle once it passes into the shot.
It's a cavalier haha. They still suck
lmao i wonder how that made people feel back then..
DOPER.
"make this a car, you'd be proud to own"
Do any of your guys dome lights turn off after 20 minutes of being left on? If I turn mine on and forget them, they stay on.
I noticed them talking about it in the vid.
my monitor sucks then cause it doesnt look like a cav at all

mine too. think they all do.
yep, all three of my z's have that feature. hell my 95 grand prix starts chiming at you if you leave the blinker on long enough. took me like 3 years to notice that LOL. i like 'little' features like that...
i think the vid was pretty neat, actually. cheesy for sure but come on it was made for 1995 which was 15 years ago.
and wow, a freaking 95 z went for under $15,000? that i never knew...
Trailer Queen corvette wanna-be with 40 coats of wax and powdercoating that soaks in.
I like the front and rear crumple zones clips. They cut the videos right as they begin to intrude into the passenger compartment.

Too much humor in this video. I was expecting something a bit more serious.
I'd rather be on a bicycle than in a Cavalier on a lateral high speed impact.
I seriously laughed out loud when they associated advanced technologies and the 2.2l engine. lol Compare today the engine of a 1995 Toyota Tercel and a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier(sold for almost the same price in 1995). The Toyota would still be running like new at 290,000 miles. The Cavalier needs 3 engines and 11 head gaskets to do the same.lol again.
Cheesiest video on the web. Ever.
That 1st vid was funny. Half of it was
219whp - I <3 whine

not really true. . . my dad's 99 sunfire has 455000KM on it(not sure what that would be in miles) but it still runs like brand new, nothing major has been done to the engine. only, back doors don't open, and the trunk is picky as to when it wants to open. . .
i like the performance part with a staggering 120HP!
i loled

Your dad should send GM his old Sunfire with 455 000km and they'll send him a new one.
95's had color matched bumpers on some models? they red one they kept showing looked more like a 98/99
These people could sell a turd on a stick.

You guys have a mentality of 2010... With that being said, the video was made in 1994, back then, the Cavalier was really "competitive" and "modern" for a compact. And a tidbit about this 3rd gen Cavs. GM was already running prototypes of this car in 1991-1992 to be ready for 1993-1994 model launch. GM for one reason another delayed the launch until Fall-winter in 1994 as a 1995 model.
As for the crash test, that test was conducted in 1995 as well, and back then crash standards we really lax, NHTSA never did a retest after that as the general design did not changed. I do know in 1996 GM updated the chassis a little to withstand 1997 crash standards. I know I've seen of it first hand on the floorboard as newer ones the bottom has a different design then the first ones, even the cradle looks a little more beefier as it did a "rolling change."
I know the government gave it 4-stars each driver/pass, but those are not as brutal as the offset. The first time the NHTSA offset crash was out was in 1995, so GM really did not do that type of testing for the 3rd gen, just the government standards. Thank-god for government standards at least. Joking aside, it really didn't do that bad considering how the competition did for that time as well.
I have a whole bunch of articles that I found in my garage, and one day when I have some time I'll post some article read on.
