Got a hood or my car today. Had to drive 2 and a half hours to New Jersey to get it. It wound up costing me 160 dollars including gas. needs a good polish, has a few scratches and few spots where the clearcoat is bad but it looks better than the stocker with a 100 little paint chips and the dent where i shut it on a maglite.

I'm not sure if I like that style, but its hard to pass up a deal like that. When are you getting it painted and put on?

Always loved that style hood. Get rid of the hood pins before you paint it tho.

Aerogear Preditor. had one on my old car. theres a few floating around here.
I wasnt sure what brand it is, i just saw a picture of it and liked it so I went for it. Looking at the pic again you cant tell but its carbon fiber so I may be stuck with the hood pins unless I decide to fill the holes and paint the sides of the hood.
Didn't realize it was carbon. That's a rare hood.

thanks for the advice, i never really liked the look of hoodpins but those do look pretty good

thats a pretty good deal on such a rare hood. enjoy it and be sure to recycle it back into the community if/when you get rid of it.
Yes, if I ever decide to get rid of it i will definitely post it in the classifieds but for the time being i dont plan on getting rid of it. Thanks for all the comments.
