I ran my very 1st auto-x today. I wanted to see what it is like because i was planning on trying it after i ditched the airride. So today i opted to go to get a feel for everything. All i have to say is that im @!#$ addicted. I love it.
I ended up placing 14th out of 15 cars in the SM class with a time of 48.3s. Top spots were 46-45 second range. Yes the airride is still on the car.
I'll have pics once i find someone who took some that wasnt running the same heats as me.
looks like a lot of fun. take that shiz off the rear view mirror lol.
what do you get up to in 1st gear mph wise?
That @!#$s my "G-meter"....
I dunno what my speed was, i never had time to take my eyes off the course and im always watching the tach when im in 1st gear when im driving around.
Sounds sexy tink!!! Always been a fan of your car
Because he complained.
Strat81 was also there w/o the cav. But he ran the $500 beater and still ran faster than a lot of cars(including me).

Well im not a small guy, just ask anyone who has met me.

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

I eventually would like to do auto-x, but i keep forgeting the dates down by my area. I have had my cavalier on a race track down at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. Looks like a lot of fun.

How @!#$ big is this guy?... your like the third person that has commented about his size lol
car sounds sexy man... i love auto x.... i really need to get back into it...
Very cool man, I've yet to get the car on the auto-x with the blower but then again, I'd be horrible with all the wheel spin as well.
I reallly wanna try this but I have the ld9 and I was told it is a bad thing to autox if you have the ld9 because with all the hard turning the oil doesnt get picked up and thats when you start having the 3rd rod bearing issue.
looks like you had fun though
How'd the GTR do?

Im pretty sure he won his class, but i'd have to check the results once they are posted online.
Good stuff man, I went to a couple events last year and had a blast, even if you're not winning it's still fun to go out and toss the car around. Once you get the new suspension on there it'll be even more fun. Car looks/sound great keep it up sir!
i did a couple auto-x's last here i made a video check it out if you want, i got back into it this year and i added a cai and megan racing exhust..
So where's that picture of the Porsche Kyle?
I'm amazed how planted your Cavy is with the bags. In the pictures, I don't see as much weight transfer as I would've thought with air bags.
Nice stuff and love the video.
