I think they looked better on satch you can bring them back now

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.
"Run! He's fuzzy!" "Get outta here!"

car looks good so far! can't wait to see what you have in store. dropping it i hope?
Thanks!
Yes, after the body work is done... I'm debating on completing the Eco swap first or coilovers but at some point withing the next year she'll have much nicer legs. No worries, hehe.
At this point Im really at a stand still until my SS sells. The sooner I find it a new home, the sooner I can get to work.

1. The front bumper sucks it hard but if your doing the whole conversion to look like your sig than its fine
2. LEAVE THE RIMS AS IS. they are awesome now...i will bet you money that if you touch them i will hate it and they wont look as clean as they do now..
3. do the eco-swap
Ummm Ummm wholly 4x4 Jess LOL, looks good. I say go bronze on the shoes and leave it like it is, with new paint of
course. And I see a PJ built Eco in it's near future that makes me jelous LOL. Good luck with the sale of the SS and getting this thing done. O by the way Satch you snooze you loose but if I know you, you always got something up your sleave too. Good luck with the build girl. Hey you need to take a vacation next year and come to Texas for our lonestar bash. We need to show these new kids how us old school guys do it.

Yes, here is the "teaser" from my other thread.
As I said, the SE bumper is for winter originally, but I'm better off rocking a mis-matched stock bumper than the currently bright purple Streetfire front, for the time being, loll. Im leaving my "nice" parts in the garage till everything is ready to be put together & the entire car getting a re-paint.
The rims are being powder coated, no question about that -> they need it BADLY. What Im doing to them is pretty much what I've always wanted for rims and Im really excited for it.. and Im not concerned if you hate it, lol. Im not going for anything flashy, they will be subtle & more suitable for my tastes.

Yes, PJ is my man for the swap, we will be doing it as soon as I can fit it in financially. Thanks for the kind words

Haha, can't wait to do so. Looking more for coil-overs for the ability to adjust and tweak the suspension a bit more for performance versus dropping it hard on them, but either way, ANYTHING looks better than stock Cavalier suspension. Once the Streetfire is on, I really can't drop it tooooo much anyways, that bumper sits low even on my current stance, lol.
@!#$ it... the new rear just sitting over my installed bumper.
Trunk is being swapped out as well. I have a wingless trunk, however I'm leaning towards mounting a Celica low-rise to it... if not, then wingless.

THIS
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
Maybe in time that would be something to consider. I could NOT pass up this LSS, particularly being one of my fave rears.. so im content with this one for a long while.
mmm i jus got my 03+ lss rear too!
coilovers.... STD's and done
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
STDs are what im hoping to pickup.
Haha.... you'd never think you'd say that. lol.
Took this at work today... slightly more flattering of a pic (partially because you cant see the mis-matched front end, lol). Not bad for the car not being washed since before I put it in storage... 2 1/2 years ago.... lol.
Debating on claybarring & waxing it.. but with the car being repainted in the near future I am not thaat worried about it ,considering the amount of body work it needs to remove all the lil dings & scratches it's gotten over the years.
looks good, i just started my swap 98 to an 03 cavi, ill post some pics later
Lookin good there keep up the good work. I like where it's going.
Thanks guys
Good luck with the conversion Josh.
Lil test fit of the driver's side skirt. (not bolted on).
I've never fitted a skirt before. Anyone have recommendations on the best way to mount the Rk IF sides? It has the double sided sticky tape, and two holes on each edge for the inner wheel well to be bolted in. Anyone use anything other than that to get the best fitment with these skirts?
i used that 3M crap on my type J sides kept falling off, no i use flat head self tapping screws
I never had problems with using the double sided tape.. its all in surface prep of both the side skirt and panel. but if there new and you didn't have to put on double sided tape on the skirts you just have to make sure the car is prepped really good.
approve the if sides, baibee
Digging it.
I wish I had IF sides and an LS rear
Only Z sides and rear for me
Thanks Quick. I might have some problem with the tape.. between PJ having them and transporting them to my house, somehow some of the protective backing has peeled off in a few places. Probably have to replace it in those spots or something. And you are saying not to drill em out until the tape is already holding them to the car? Good to know.
wow jess i didnt know you picked up those skirts good find prob my fav skirts of all time
