Today I went over to Pauls and we got the cars washed, clay barred, waxed and buffed today. Since it has both cars, I thought id make a new thread.

The pics are sort of random and not of anything particular, but they came out pretty nice so I wanted to post them up. I took them when Paul had to leave to go get his GF from work, and so I just kinda took whatever lol.

Thanks man, that means a lot coming from you, I always loved your car and im loving the front end swap! Anyways, yeah, I mentioned it in my interior thread, but I switched out my brothers 80gb HDD in his PS3 and put another one in and I kept the old one, bought a SATA enclosure for it, formatted it and made a 32 GB Fat32 partition for the car and so the radio will recognize it. The rest is just external storage. I have like 5000 songs and a handful of movies on there. I ended up getting the enclosure for like 12 bucks on amazon. Its aluminum with chrome end caps and matches the car pretty nicely.

otherwise love it. silver handle would be mint on yours, and that whole 2.4/auto thing... geez what were you thinking love it though man. real clean for sure. mad props on both.

azn, I was using an 8gb stick as well, its def. an upgrade and should work with anything that takes USB as long as you format in Fat32.

Vince, thats Tire Barn for you lol. Cant say I am surprised.

Also there are a lot of rock chips in the front bumper, I will have the mirrors and handles probably painted when I do the bumper.

I can say its Supercharged and tuned with some basic other mods and its an auto but its been tuned as well, and has a trans cooler and new shift tables and still has the Autotrans Interceptor on it. So if it was an auto 2.4, that would be the one I wanted. I will have a Turbo Ecotec when I get a stock Eco, swap it, sell the SC and start building it and piecing together a turbo kit.. It will stay auto though, because I will still be lazy then too if I was gonna guess.

Well, I know.. lol I am looking for a leather wrapped GT or LSS one and a shift boot from a GT and probably cut it down a little bit so its not in the way of the screen lol.

Thank you! The HIDs are from DDM Tuning. They are the Raptor Series. 55w with 8000k bulbs.

Because it's not quite finished lol besides not clean at all, still missing the coil cover that jeffros dads machining for me. But I'll have some here within the next 48 hours. Idk why you want to see a stock ecotec anyway

my boss told me a while ago that colored markings on tires are brand specific and carry different meanings (heavier side of tire, lighter side, etc) and its really only to aid in balancing, i tried lining up some dots and Ive received mixed results, a few balanced perfectly without adding weights, some still required a fair amount of weight.

Nice cars by the way! i have always loved silver 00-02 style z24s. the HD looks awesome too.
ps. i think i have the same tires as you, Hercules Raptis WR-1's?

Also, thanks for all the comments, even if the car reminds jeffie of teh aids.. Im sure Pauls is still nice and safe in the garage, mine has been rained on all day so now it needs sprayed down with quick detailer again. Oh well.

It's always a crap shoot with those dots. I've learned to not pay attention to them and it's never been an issue when balancing. Some directional tires only show dots on one sidewall anyways.
