No I did not, I just taped off the section of the tailights i wanted untouched. Then lightly sanded everything else, rubbed it down with rubbing alcohol, then just coated it with nice and thin coats of paint, then clear and wetsanded and buffed... planned on doing it again to get it to really shine, but nonethess I think it turned out good.

I ended up getting the xB, talked the dealer down quite a bit. Plan on starting up a build thread for it this spring or early summer hopefully.
