sitting for 10 years.
Monday, July 11, 2011 9:20 PM
well i towed a guy's mustang out to his uncle's barn/garage and came across this 1985 chevy cavalier convertible, 2.8 v6 auto. the speedo said 42,000 but he was not sure if it had rolled over or not. he also said the car had been sitting for about 10yrs in the same spot. he was thinking the fuel pump had went out and thats why it was parked it. the car looked like it was in great shape didn't show signs of rust and had a power top that was not as common for the times. only down fall i could see at the short time looking at it was that the interior need some tlc. the most disappoint part is he offered to sell it to me. but at this time i couldn't take on another project. so i snapped a couple photos to share with you guys of to me was a rare find. he said he also had a cpo 2.0 turbo sunbird up in his other garage, but unfortantly i didn't have the time to check it out since i had to go tow another car.

here the pics.

if anyone is interested i could make arrangements for it.

Fix it and run it through the car wash, he can make quiet a few bucks for it...or even keep it, im sure once it's running, few oil changes to clean out the crap sitting there for 10 years and it will last a long time

Depends how how it gets here...

I figure it has to somehow make its way to US 23 or I-75...I'm not picky as long as we don't damage it....

if you are serious pm me your number and we can see what we are able to work out. just remember i don't have this car in my possession. i just know the guy that has it. so the towing and purchase would be separate. i have 2 way to tow it one would be threw work(AAA) or my truck and trailer.
