Hey. I just got my account for here. I'm sure you've all heard this question a million times. I was searchin for a disc brake conversion for my 99 z24 and all i could find was this one for $1,000. is that really necessary? any cheaper solutions?

Hmm... where'd that thread go begging the noobs to properly fill out their registries.

We should really get that stickied. You're right though... he gave the relevant info in the post... but it's pretty common for people to click the registry link first just to check the car and see what sort of person they're dealing with.

An important detail would be his location. I don't think I've seen any kits starting at $1000 USD so I'm assuming he must be talking in Canadian dollars.

Sorry bout that fellas. I filled it out a little better, but just in case someone still can't figure it out...I have a 1999 Red Z24 Chevrolet Cavalier. I found an RSM rear disc conversion kit for my car at high rev motorsports for $950 U.S. Dollars. I was just curious if there was anything cheaper available. thanks.

ww, or dave for that matter, how hard would it be to make the vechicle reg. a "required field" to be filled out when registering.... just a thought, to make some of the newb bashing go away...
