What makes an indy car sound like an indy car?

is it anyway possible at all to make a cav sound like one?

prob a multi piston engine reving to about 10K+ rpm? I dont know how you could pull that one off?!?!?!

i would think that this was a bettersuited ? in the off topic forum.... and i always thought t was there induction, but i am not pos. i am sure i will be corrected if i am wrong

no way on earth you could make your car sound like that, those engines are V8's and probably capable of RPMs of 20K. Good luck getting that safely out of a 4 cylinder. But, way to go for trying to reach your dreams.

Hmm... would a 4 cyl running at 30k rpm sound roughly like an 8 cyl running 15k rpm? Really... only one way to find out...

Alot of cylinder, Small stroke, Low displacement, High priced parts = High reving engines.

You can do the same with a 2 cylinder lawn mower engines. You jsut need to know how it works. It's like making a V8 run in the 9k rpm range.
