Has anybody used one of those electric superchargers they are selling on ebay?

If so what is the quality?

that link doesnt even work, but this kinda sums it up:

There is only 1 true electric supercharger. It requires a BANK of batteries, and only lasts for 18 seconds before it needs to recharge. The wieght gain alone would negate the advantages of the turbocharger.

I agree....

The thing is... They say they can move so many sq. feet of air or whatever.... heres the deal, they actually can, if its in the open. If its on a tube in ur engine, its not even doing half that.

Plus, our engines can move huge masses of air without a problem, the fan on an elec. supercharger will only make an obsticle for the air flow.

Not to mention, if something in there breaks, you now have unfilter chunks of @!#$ going into ur engine.
