why do the duel five spoke factory rims cost more than after-market rims. i like their look but the price is outrageous. in case of any confusion, i'm talking about the for the 01 and up cavaliers.

Well first of all, they're about as high a quality of wheel as you're going to find. If you look at the higher-end aftermarket stuff, you can easily pay just as much.

Secondly, they're not meant to be bought individually so when someone needs one, it's often the insurance company paying and they'll pay whatever the manufacturer wants for them.
