I'm sorry to ask again, but I'm so confused trying to read through everything that's here, and finding things that apply to my car specifically - that I can understand.
How can I reach higher speeds than stock on my 2002 Sunfire (2.2L, 4 cyl.)

Yeah, if you want to make your car more powerful and thus, quicker and more fun to drive, then by all means go check out the Performance forum and then ask about stuff you don't understand.
If you're trying to get a higher top speed, we won't be helping you here for various reasons, legal and otherwise.
I suspect you're looking for the former though, in which case a good place to start is to pick up a new intake and look into having a performance exhaust installed.
Not too sure Rob. I think I have to find the manual to check. Under the hood it only says 2200 SFI...
You don't have an Ecotec then.
