Ok I have a question for all of you. I have a bit of a problem with my g/f slamming the passenger door of my Sunfire everytime she gets in or out of the car. Drives me frickin' insane. She's always slammed car dors. She beat to doors of her car to hell. It's like she thinks that she needs to SLAM the door to make sure it's really shut. She does it at home too. She's got my front entrance door to my house practically hanging from it's hinges because she slams it so much. It's annoying as hell. She really slams it hard. She slams car doors so hard that when we drive somewhere and she gets out of the car and slams the door people actually look and stare thinking that we are fighting or something. I tell her all the time, but she doesn't listen. I'm ready to put a sign up on the dash on her side so that hopefully she gets the hint, and if that don't work I'm gonna have a custom passenger ejector seat built in just for her next time she slams my door. Is there anything I can do to cushion the slam a little when she gets in my car and closes the door...?
put 500 lbs resistant springs on her door so she needs to use all her strength to close it...
either that or don't let her shut your door...

LOL Sounds like a good idea. I wonder how much resistance it would take to get the door strong enough to fling her like a sling shot...?
hmmmmmm well depend on how heavy your girl is a guess.... but i'd say start at about 10000 and adjust for yardage from there.

My wife slams my car door too! Not house much, but I'm afraid she gonna taske it off one day.
Maybe she's taking out her aggression, from paying to much attention the the car, and not her lol.

You could go to her house and when you walk in and leave slam the door both times , ask her to drive her car and when you get out of the car .... Once again slam the door .
If she does'nt have a car then don't let her drive . Just slam the door at her house that much harder .
Do that the entire time you are at her house or in her car . After a while she will probably get mad and ask what your problem is . Then you can say you don't know but it must be the same problem she is having when she slams the doors on your car .

Ok i have to put my .02 into this one....My g/f slams the doors all the time and i tell her she don't have to slam them to get them to shut and then she gives me this i didnt mean to slam it..everytime.. But here is my theory i think its in the genes because here mom,brother,and sister slam the doors on their cars... Its like man i cant have anything nice......
Sounds like your g/f has down syndrome or something, cant you just tell her to stop? Its not like she is gonna stop putting out cause your told her to not shut the door so hard.
