Lifting point

Where is a good place to life these cars from? I'm used to full frame vehicles and I'm sick of using the rocker panel flange. I've got a big floor jack and I am scared of bending stuff by lifting it in the wrong place.
thanks,

the front rad suport works good. the pinch weld is another good spot along the side of the car.

Those stupid pinch welds are pretty much crushed along both sides of my car.

I feel your pain, bro! There are no good lift points on these cars along the sides. What I've done is got a piece of wood that fits flush against the inside of the pinch rail toward the middle of the car and distributes the load so I don't do any further damage. This has worked well for me for the past couple years.

Im guessing you guys never used the jack pads under your cars?

There are specific points under the car as to where you can jack it up and or put jack stands.

Read the manuel.

Those points work great for the stock jack since it's shaped to hold onto the pinch rail. I'm assuming you're talking about the folded/reinforced parts of it that you're supposed to use.

Try putting a floor jack or jack stand under those though and in time, they'll buckle. If you're using those points and they haven't buckled, you just haven't worked on your car enough.
