I was wondering what the 04 stock sunfires run in the 1/4 mile? I took mine and all I have done is muffler and lower motor mount and I ran 16.8, does that seem about right or a little crappy. Its an automatic with the stock 15s on it. My 03 cavy LS ran 16.4 with the 16s on it with only the muffler. Any help would be greatly appreaciated..thanks.
Sounds about right man, I have an 2002 Ecotec Cavalier (automatic) and I ran a best of 16.7 at the track bone stack (4- door).

I raced a 03 sunfire that ran 15.658 i won by 3-4 links in my 04 cav 2.2 5 speed i hav catback and IAT mod nothing else. Want to know possible time. Need to go to track!
You sure that wasnt 18.658?
If you beat a car that ran a mid 15s by 3-4 cars that would make you a mid 14 second car.... and well. Your not. Make up a better story next time

Just because the guy ran a 15.658 at some point, doesn't mean that's what he ran when you beat him. Stories like that are meaningless and not welcome here.
The one i put on my car. No i cant beat a neon turbo with my cav. but with my TA I would smoke it.
Sorry I dont think a cav is somthing to take to a track. The only reason i even put exhaust was to run my friends honda, but just for u im going to go to the track this friday.

Here's my time slip with a complete stock 04 'Fire... I got a 5 speed though, and ignore that craptastic R/T... Also when I got that slip, i had been driving a stick for about 3 weeks, so my shifting was not the worlds greatest

no worries deadbob, practicing your shifting will make your times much lower. I ran 16.4 on my first time, and I'm still stock and now I run 15.9 with @!#$ty 60'
