you have a slightly high speed with the cams are you having any traction issues.
Something is not right.

The car pulls like a banshee on the street.
Before the swap I was dead even w/ my G35.
Now I sloowly pull on it at top of each gear.
So the fun factor is up track times on the other hand.

did you rest the computer...... sometimes it may think theres a problem with the bigger cam in there and may dump more fuel in

Look at your trap speed, it went up by 2 mph, while your ET went down 1.1 sec. youve lost low end torque, while gaining top end HP. you could use a lower gear(numerically higher), since you power band moved up in rpms.
I'm not familier with the final drive gearing options available on the manuals. I'm sure someone can help you with that though.
You for sure picked up power. You have to learn how to drive that power. Not meant to offend.
The gearing on the getrag tranny is a 3:94 (nice drag gearing). Might need a higher launch.
Truly anything you mod any car you should have to adjust driving it to a point.

True about LACR times are usually off about .7, in my experience.

Your mod list isn't any more extensive than mine (except the cams) and I have yet to break into the 14's with my GM S/C. Seems normal enough to me. It's a nice boost, but it's not really MAD POWA!!!
Just a random thought and I dont know much about the Secret cams, but aren't they NA cam profiles? If so, they would not work well with boost... just a thought. Also like someone else said it takes time for the computer to adjust.

ive prolly raced over 100 times @ LACR.... its more like .3-.5 sec at best time differance with racing say @ sea level track..... also LACR sometimes does not do the best prep work... depending on the day and the actual event which is taking place....
The local would call me out.

actually 14.9 @ 91 over @ LACR is not bad by any means... thats like a mid 14 sec pass @ close to say 95 MPH....
As for why your run with the cams was SO much slower... hard to tell... but your MPH is faster which means your car SHOULD be faster.... maybe traction?

except i hated the drive to LACR from torrance , termial island was great while it lasted

both speedworld and firebird are lower than LACR
i dont remember what karos time's were here compaired to out there
what all do you have for mods , besides the cams and the s/c ?
im running 36lb injectors , alky inj , 59mm tb , pacesetter header , magnaflow obd2 2 1/4" cat , and full 2 1/4" exhaust , all on a motor with over 100,000
so my 14.38 isnt bad for a auto trans powered sedan
Cams, S/C, Alky and a Cone Filter.

sounds right for the gain on the street and the few more MPH.
but times suck. what were your 60 foot times?
maybe you are running too rich with the water injection set up?
lots of factors can come into play.
if that is all you have that might be another reason why your times slipped
True I'm thinking the exhaust can't be doing the set-up a justice at all.

i drove a buddys GM S/C cavvy with Secret cams its a 2000 my first run EVER in the car was 14.7@95 and i had never driven a getrag or a short shifter before...........he got it to run 14.33@97 that nite
