Sorry to see that, I had the same thing happen to me. Even thow insurance covers it , it still sucks and costs you money anyway. I'm thinking of setting up a sting some time and beating the crap out of one of these ass's.

On the plus side (if you can count it as a positive) at least they didn't destroy the wiring harness from what I can tell in that pic.
So which country is it that used to cut the hands off of a thief if they were caught? Sounds like a good policy to enact in the US. To heck with cruel and unusual punishment.
Same thing happened to mine but ihave no key hole afterwords and no stereo..
This makes me want to shave my door locks and handles now. Our locks must be garbage if you can just pry them open like that.

that sucks man first week when i moved to arizona my car got broken into and they stole my dvd screen and playstation and like 10 games and 100 cd's i feel for ya
They broke into mine and my friend's cars in a movie theater parking lots. It's one of the reasons I am selling mine. It brings too much attention. They didn't evene take anything out of mine even though they gutted my friend's ZX2 for everything in side it that night, I didn't know weather to be happy or offended?

happened to me too....i came damn close to catching the guy but hit a dead end. same style too, cept they destroyed my door around the lock cylinder.
DONT FIX THE LOCK! SHAVE THEM! one less way for them to get in. in my case, if they had smashed the glass, it would have been cheaper.
time to hit up the junkyard for dash parts!

Man, I really feel for ya. I know what it's like to have stuff that I've worked hard for be taken right out from under me. They'll get theirs though. Don't worry about that. You'll get to beat their asses sooner or later, and even though that won't bring your stuff back, it'll feel so damn good!

Dude, call your insurance company and see what they say. Im poisitve that you have theft insurance covered under comprehensive. it doesnt raise your rates, because its considered sort of like vandalism.
I had a car a few years ago with only liability, and I still had comprehensive coverage, which will cover glass damage, vandalism and theft from vehicle.
Theft insurance is for theft of the car, not the articles inside.
